We're seeking an highly motivated individual with a Ph.D. in Computer Science / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering / Physics or related fields with strong experience in MPI based parallel programming.

The candidate is required to have strong programming skills (preferably in C/C++) and work experience in Linux/Unix OS. The candidate will take leadership in the pursuit of modifying a serial C program to a MPI enabled parallel, portable and platform independent program. The development of this program is related to research on a couple of projects in the areas of Multiphase flow with a focus on Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (eg. blending, milling, granulation, drying, tablet/capsule filling) funded by government and leading industrial agencies.

Expertise in the following is a plus: FLUENT, FEMLAB, Statistics, Matlab, Tecplot, Digital image processing, OpenGL.
